Easter Ideas During Quarantine
This Easter will likely be a bit different for most families this year. We can still have a wonderful Easter while following social distancing rules. Here are a few ideas to keep the family happy and healthy.
- Easter Egg Hunt – Keep it simple and traditional. Hide eggs around your home and backyard for your kids to find. If you don’t have real or plastic eggs to hide then get creative and make paper or foam eggs. It will be a fun activity to keep the family busy.
- Dress up and make brunch – Just because we aren’t supposed to go out and socialize doesn’t mean we can’t have a family brunch (with members of our household). Put on your Sunday’s finest and make a nice brunch.
- Play with chalk – Get the family outside and play with some sidewalk chalk. While walking my dogs around my neighborhood, I’ve noticed a few homes with motivational chalk out front. It’s great to see sayings that help us realize we’re all in this “together”.
- Video chat with loved ones – We might not be able to physically be around the ones we love, but it doesn’t mean we can’t see them. There are many options so we can see each other such as Zoom, FaceTime, Skype, etc. It’s a safe and great way to all be together.
- Order a nice dinner – Support a local restaurant and order a nice dinner for the family. Here is a long list of restaurants who offer delivery and takeout!
